This collection contains the call numbers Y.d.582 (1-48).
Contents include: 7 ballads and extracts from ballads, various references to ballads and other subjects and 5 newspaper clippings about ballads; 9 miscellaneous transcripts, one (44) consisting of lines purported to be by Marlowe (printed in A. Dyce's edition of Marlowe's Works, 1865, p. 382) and several consisting of copies of Scottish proclamations, 1568, 1570, and 1573. (39) includes ballads added by Halliwell-Phillipps (?).
