Katherine Robinson was the daughter of Gifford Watkyn of Moulton Park, Northamptonshire, Merchant of the Staple of England. Richard Hale was executor of the last will and testament of his daughter Mary (Hale) Watkyn, last wife of Thomas Watkyn of Bugby [Northamptonshire], Gifford's brother.
