Scope and Contents

Hills surrendered, by the hands of Robert Drake, steward of the Manor of Soham, fen grounds and appurtenances at Stutfeilds (late John Palmer's) and Broad Hill (late William Peachey's). If Hills pay John Smith the sum of £106 in full satisfaction discharge of the surrender, then the obligation is to be void. On leaf 1v, 4 receipts from Smith for interest received from Robert Drake and William Hill, dated between January 1700 and March 1702.
