Indenture tripartite between William Sandys of Brymsfeild [i.e. Brimpsfield], Gloucestershire and Margaret, his wife, Sir Thomas Temple of Stowe, Buckinghamshire, and John Culpeper of Astwood, Worcestershire of the first part; Thomas Spencer of Clardon [i.e. Clarendon], Warwickshire and John Hanbury of Kelmarshe, Northamptonshire of the second part; and Miles Sandys, heir apparent of William Sandys, and Mary Hanbury, daughter of John Hanbury, of the third part. For the sum of 5000 marks in hand paid by John Hanbury to William Sandys for the marriage portion of Mary, concerns claims of land after the marriage of Miles Sandys and Mary Hanbury. Names of manors not specified, but mentions woods called Whittleswoodes and Small ridge downes.
