Consists of mostly miscellaneous and fragmentary articles and clippings, manuscript and typescript notes and photocopies.

Includes material relating to Richard Mansfield (Y.d.1760 (114-127)); notes and excerpts of correspondence concerning a National Arts Club of New York City dinner for William Winter in 1909 (Y.d.1760 (128) and (165)); Winter's employment and resignation from the New York Tribune (Y.d.1760 (129)); the testimonial to Winter in 1916 (Y.d.1760 (130-131)); and the Charles Dickens Centenary Testimonial in 1912 (Y.d.1760 (132-138).

Several items originally from a folder labeled "Book file" (Y.d.1760 (176-207)) are in William Jefferson Winter's hand and two are in William Winter's hand (Y.d.1760 (186) and Y.d.1760 (188)).
